Tiarra Lanette Carlena Jackson (born March 28 1990 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), better known by her stage name "AMATIC" is an unsigned rapper that has been killing the game since the young age of 5. Formerly known as Ameezy, A-Rock, or A-Money, she released her first mixtape entitled, Sincity Vol. 1, in 2008. Shy to the game but a beast to the streets or anyone who heard her freestyle, she developed the moto, "Philly's Best Kept Secret."
Amatic is well known and respected all through out Philly for her skills and finesse on the mic, she is one of the Philly's most respected young female rappers. Amatic grew up in what others would label as west Philadelphia, right across the street from the Arch st. projects. Her childhood was better than most of the youth growing up around her but not like the "Cosbys" or the "Simmons." She was raised in a family of hustlers and hard workers which is why one would say she "works her ass off with everything she does." Says her girlfriend.
The very first time she stepped into a studio it belonged to another female rapper by the name of "L-Nice" who pretty much showed her the ropes. She encouraged her to stop going so hard on industry beats and put a song together. Two sixteens and a catchy hook and there's your song. A few months later, Amatic drops "Celebrate Tonite" produced my Chill of Beatbulletin, had her everyone going crazy. By this time, Amatic moved up to recording at a studio that was a little more better, "Konkrete Studios" owned my Tunez Bol, rapper, producer, engineer, and CEO.
Every since that day, her cousin, Antonio Owens, better known as AO has been managing her making sure that nobody takes advantage of her in any type of way.
Anxious to let the world hear his talented cousin, he began booking shows for her and her teammate "Sinema." Even though they were both single artists, together they were known as "Sinematic." "Apart they're hot, but together they do damage" said AO.
When you hear this 5'2 monster rap or perform, you can actually hear her transforming. She sounds like Da Brat, Kendrick Lamar, Tupac, Meek Millz, Twista, Busta Rhymes, and McLyte rolled up into one. You have to see it to believe it. Known as a lyrical genius Amatic has performed or opened for people like philly's known Tweez, Young Hot, Reed Dollaz, and Meek Millz and completely stole the show. She is definitely known as Philly Best Female Artist hands down.
